We’ve interacted with several vet techs, Dr. G and Dr. Alex, and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Our girl Mocha is very shy and fearful, but everyone there has made all of her appointments as smooth as possible. She had dental done by Dr. G and although we were nervous, it was seamless. Communication was excellent and when we had a followup concern, the responsiveness was incredible from the whole team. Now look at her clean pearly whites!! :) Her brother will be checking out BVC for sure for his next appointment.

My experience with BVC Charlestown has been extremely positive. The vet techs & Dr. Alex C are always so gentle with my anxious senior dog and it gives me a lot of comfort that they really care to make sure they do everything they can when she's not feeling well.

The care at BVC is always top-notch and well executed. My fur boy, Woodford, is always taken care of. The BVC Team takes time to listen and discuss all questions or concerns. Full vouch for the Boston Veterinary Clinic. I've been to several locations and all are top-notch!

We've been going to BVC ever since we adopted our dog, Rex. The level of care here is absolutely unparalleled, and we love Dr Alex! He always takes his time with us and never makes us feel rushed or unseen. He goes above and beyond to make sure Rex feels as comfortable as possible. Although BVC is a bit pricey in comparison to other places, it is well worth it.

The BVC Charlestown team has been nothing but amazing for my three Golden’s! Every question and concern is heard, and taken into consideration, putting your mind at ease! My dogs love coming, and I can trust their health and happiness is always put first! Dr. Jonalyn and staff take their time with exams, and makes sure to explain anything and everything that is going on, and give you the best course of action to whatever is needed. Their time and patience with my girls is something I am so thankful for, and so lucky to have right here in our town. Thank you BVC team!

My furbaby & I loved the Boston Veterinary Clinic in Charlestown! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and love for my dog. The staff made me feel at ease and reassured me that my dog would be well taken care of. Despite my dog's fear of needles, the nurses worked their magic and made her feel safe! I got to be in the room the whole time so my dog felt more calm. Dr. G patiently answered all of my questions and provided clear explanations. If you're looking for a vet clinic that feels like a wellness retreat for your beloved pet, this place is for you!

Came here for new kitties first check up! The staff are extremely friendly, and it is no joke that they are a calming/anti-anxiety office. As someone who has their own doctor anxiety, I truly appreciated the setting. Treats were provided to our little cutie pie, and she couldn’t have been happier. Staff/doctors were very knowledgeable, and brought up multiple things we had never thought of and had great advice for us as new cat owners. Parking is also very easy since it’s right there by the shopping center. So glad to have a place like this so close by.

We already highly recommend Dr Alex, Dr G, and the rest of the crew at BVC any chance we get, but wanted to highlight the recent outstanding care we’ve received and acknowledge vet tech David for truly going above and beyond during a recent visit. When I was waiting for an appointment last December, I overheard David de-escalate a pet parent over the phone and was impressed by his demeanor and the way in which he made that person’s situation feel heard. I was the frantic pet parent on the other side of the call recently and had the privilege of being heard by David. Not only was he able to squeeze us in for a visit that afternoon, he was also beyond gentle and kind to our very anxious dog during the vaccine admin process. We have been at BVC in Chinatown since 2016 and transferred to Charlestown when it opened and have nothing but positive things to say about all of our experiences

This is, hands down, the most remarkable veterinary experience my kitties have ever had!!! Dr. Alex is incredible, and this fear-free clinic takes every possible measure to ensure your fur babies have the most relaxed and calm visit possible! The practitioners really take their time to get to know your pets, their personalities, and their unique needs when they're visiting. Dr. Alex is truly one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have found a vet that understands how important it is to put the emotional well-being of your kitties at the forefront of their vet visits! Words will never do this clinic justice, you just have to experience it for yourself!

This is the best vet office I have ever been to, and I have truly been all over boston trying to find a good vet. (Right now I visit the Charlestown location.) My cat can be a real challenge she's very quick, extremely smart and semi feral, so it's hard to clip her nails or perform exams. She has accidentally hurt vets before who were less patient bc she is scared, and got "kicked out" of their offices. This team is so patient w the animals and they really care about their comfort level, and they have really great ideas about how to accomplish medical procedures w minimal stress to the pet. They accept and understand stressed out cat behavior. I have learned a lot also from convos with the medical professionals and even the posters in the cat room that have excellent and useful information for helping my cat. It's a bit more expensive than other vets I've been to, but it's 100% worth it for the piece of mind knowing my cat won't be manhandled or forced into behaving badly bc she is scared, or get in trouble for getting physical with a clinician. Thank you very much BVC! We will keep coming back.
